The Endless Growth Podcast
Welcome to The Endless Growth Podcast, hosted by lifelong friends Edgar and Alex.
What started as a podcast about self-improvement has grown into something bigger: honest conversations about life, growth, ambition, relationships, careers, money, health, setbacks, and everything that comes with trying to become a better version of yourself.
Each week, Edgar and Alex sit down and talk about what they're experiencing, learning, questioning, and working toward in real time. Some episodes get deep, some are funny, and some are simply two best friends catching up on life, but growth is always at the center of the conversation.
There are no perfect answers and no finish line. Just two friends navigating life, sharing what they learn along the way, and continuing to grow one episode at a time.

Welcome to Episode 181 of The Endless Growth Podcast!
This week, Alex and Edgar take a trip through the past while reflecting on how much life, money, technology, and even they themselves have changed along the way.
The conversation starts with something as simple as the price of a haircut before turning into a bigger discussion about inflation and how different adulthood looks financially compared to the world they grew up in. Salaries that once provided a comfortable living do not stretch nearly as far, homes are more expensive, interest rates have changed, and waiting for things to magically get better is not much of a strategy. The guys talk about focusing on what you can actually control, from increasing your income and developing new skills to finding the right balance between saving for tomorrow and actually enjoying your life today.
From there, the episode takes a nostalgic turn. Yu-Gi-Oh! cards, yard sales, loose change, RC cars, childhood toys, and the excitement of getting something new bring back memories of a time when a few dollars could feel like a fortune. That nostalgia leads into stories about growing up, getting into trouble, spending entire days outside, and the small moments with older siblings and family members that can stick with you decades later.
Looking back also raises a bigger question: how much of who we become is shaped by the people, places, and opportunities around us? Edgar reflects on scholarships that did not work out, while Alex looks back on a factory injury and a job rejection that could have sent his life in a completely different direction. Neither knows what the alternative path would have looked like, but they agree that sometimes what matters most is not what happens to you, but what you choose to build from it.
The guys also reflect on friendships, getting older, and how much harder it becomes to maintain a social life when work and responsibilities take over more of your time. That leads into a debate about working from home, the freedom it gives you, the isolation that can come with it, and why the environment you choose to live and work in can quietly shape your life more than you realize.
Episode 181 is a conversation about nostalgia, money, childhood, missed opportunities, friendships, and the environments that shape us. You may never know where the other path would have taken you, but you can always decide what to do with the one you are on.
